Free film screening of Oscar-nominated, award-winning Canadian film Incendies (rated R). Directed by Québec’s acclaimed Denis Villeneuve, Incendies is presented in French with English subtitles. Runs 130 minutes. In partnership with Immigration Francophone Nouvelle-Écosse. Travelling to Lebanon to dig into a family history of which they know next to nothing, twins Jeanne and Simon Marwan discover the story of the woman who brought them into the world, a tragic fate forever marked by war and hatred, as well as the courage of an exceptional woman.
