FAIRVIEW GARDEN JAMBOREE
With special book launch & signing by author Elizabeth Peirce "You Can Too:
Canning, Pickling & Preserving the Maritime Harvest"
Wednesday, August 7
6:30-8:30 p.m.
52 Alex St., Halifax
Sharing our space, knowledge and food at Ecole Burton Ettinger Elementary
School. A chance to show the community our new orchard, butterfly gardens,
raised vegetable beds, bog, and Friendship Circle at our school. Bring
something to share from your garden or kitchen. Bring a musical instrument
or game. Bring your passion or questions about gardening Jill Ratcliffe,
gardening guru, will be on site. 
There will also be a special book launch and signing by award-winning author
Elizabeth Peirce of her newest book "You Can Too: Canning, Pickling &
Preserving the Maritime Harvest". She will also have her book "Grow Organic:
A Simple Guide to Nova Scotia Vegetable Gardening" available for sale. 
Free garden party. All Welcome. Rain or shine. Funded by the Chebucto West
