Hey Neighbours

As you may know, our neighbourhood has been designing a piece of artwork to be painted on Chebucto Lane. We're inviting everyone to paint the laneway on July 13th (rain date July 14th) and having a huge celebration of our community with live music, food, carnival games and more! To help pull this off we are going to need your help.

The painting will first be outlined in chalk and then everyone in the community is invited to help fill it in with colour! We need help coordinating this and making sure it is a big success.

We will be closing three blocks during the event. These include almost all of Chebucto Lane (from Chebucto Road to Lawrence). Chebucto Lane will be closed from 8 am to 11 pm. There will be barricades at each block to keep cars out. HRM requires that we have someone hanging out at each barricade in case an emergency vehicle needs to get through and the barricade needs to get moved in a hurry.

There's also lots of other ways to get involved. Please check the boxes below to indicate how you'd like to help out.
