What is the Nova Scotia HIV/AIDS Knowledge Exchange and Health Promotion Forum (KEHPF)?
What we once called the Nova Scotia HIV/AIDS Skills Building Ceilidh is now known as the Nova Scotia HIV/AIDS Knowledge Exchange and Health Promotion Forum.
The KEHPF is an annual event hosted by the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia and will be held at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia from June 6th-9th, 2013. The KEHPF provides an opportunity for learning and sharing around HIV/AIDS. It allows people to continue the important work that came out of previous conferences and to expand the focus of involvement to include all areas of the province. It is an excellent opportunity for people to network with others who are doing HIV/AIDS work around the Atlantic region.
The KEHPF engages people living with HIV/AIDS (PHAs), community-based AIDS organizations, people in the field of health and those who have a stake in the future of AIDS work in Nova Scotia. This year, our theme is a focus on addressing HIV/AIDS related stigmatization and discrimination at is relates to mental health, addictions and resiliency.
