McNabs Island Provincial Park is an ideal place for research, heritage protection, outdoor education, and recreation. Senior planning students at Dalhousie University investigated the island's potential to become HRM's 'central' park. Students were asked to explore several things:

What is needed to make McNabs Island a major urban park?
How does rising sea level and coastal erosion impact plans and programs for the park?

Come find out what the students discovered!
