Jackie Barkley, an experienced anti-racism activist, community organizer, and social worker, hosts a conversation about what it means to be an ally. What does it mean to do meaningful solidarity work? What are some of the major pitfalls one can encounter? When is it appropriate to join or contribute to a struggle - and what does that even look like?

This event is partly hosted by Solidarity Halifax and is born out of a group of students from around the city beginning to hold educational events in support of the Idle No More movement.
