Please Join us on Wednesday, April 22nd for a Networking Social for Volunteers & Poverty Organizations (Hosted by Make Poverty History Halifax)
Want to learn more about Make Poverty History? How to become more involved?
Meet and socialize with organizations in the area doing global or local poverty advocacy and action?
Then please join us on April 22nd for an open-house event! We will be hosting an informal social networking evening for groups and individuals already engaged in or interested in volunteering with poverty-focused organizations in the Halifax area.
We'll also be introducing the MPH Halifax Coalition's new agenda for 2009/2010 - a refined, activities-based plan leading up to the G8 Meeting Canada will be hosting in June 2010!
This is a great opportunity to reconnect with Make Poverty History locally, share a bit of our ambitious plans for 2009/2010 and mingle with the broader community engaged in local and global poverty issues.
Date: Wednesday, April 22nd
Time: 6-8pm
Where: Tribeca Bistro Bar (Upstairs) - 1588 Granville Street, Halifax NS
Hope to see you there! Please share this with anyone who may be interested - all are welcome.
