Halifax West Trails Meeting

Spring is in the air and thoughts turn to the prospect of walking safely on our local woodland trails again. To start off the walking season, we invite you to attend and participate in the Annual General Meeting of the local trails group, Halifax North West Trails Association.
An overview of the evening's events follows:
6:30 pm - Meet and greet; networking. Refreshments will be served.
7:00 pm - Annual General meeting/Introduction of Officers and Directors of the new board
7:30 pm - Presentation by Oliver Maass, Coordinator (Central Region), Protected Areas Branch of NS Environment. Oliver will be speaking about the Blue Mountain - Birch Cove Lakes candidate Wilderness Area.
8:00 pm - Next Steps; Brainstorming Session 8:30 pm - Adjournment
We hope that you will be able to attend the AGM and continue to support the trails group as you have in the past. Please feel free to spread the word on this event - we need the support of all members of the community. Our trails are certainly an important community resource!
