Nova Scotia Fracking Panel Visits Halifax

Nova Scotia's independent fracking panel, headed by Dr. David Wheeler of Cape Breton University, tours the province to discuss the findings of their review. They have been heavily criticized by environmental organizations and concerned Nova Scotia citizens for suggesting hydraulic fracturing is safe without adequate scientific backing. Nova Scotia's provincial government has stated the findings of this review will be considered in their decision to renew or remove the provincial moratorium on hydraulic fracturing.
