About: I moved to Vancouver in 1995 from Pennsylvania with my wife and three kids. We're blessed and grateful to still be here. I am the rabbi of the Ahavat Olam Synagogue, a progressive, activist religious community. I have lived in Israel for four years at various times spread out over a span of thirty years and I lived in Japan for a couple of years as well.
