A protest was held at noon 03 April 2009 in front of the Halifax Passport Offices on Barrington Street in a show of support for Abousfian Abdelrazik. Abdelrazik's was due to leave Khartoum, Sudan, the same day and time as the Canada wide protest. He has been living in the Canadian Embassy in Khartoum for almost a year.
