Breaking the Silence/KAIROS/United Church/PSAC/MiningWatch Canada/Council of Canadians are hostingSandra Carolina Ascencio in NS/NB as part of  a national speaking tour.  Sandra Carolina works at the Franciscan Office for Peace, Justice and the Integrity of Creation. She is a member of the Coalition Against Metal Mining in El Salvador (the Mesa.) The Mesa is calling for Goldcorp to halt development of its Cerro Blanco Mine on the Guatemala/El Salvador border, deeply concerned about possible contamination of El Salvador's major riverm the Lempa River.
