Halifax, NS – The Halifax-Dartmouth & District Labour Council is pleased to endorse nine candidates for Halifax Regional Municipality Council. Each of these candidates has a clear progressive vision for HRM.
We are particularly pleased to endorse two incumbents, Jennifer Watts and Jackie Barkhouse. These women are progressive champions on HRM Council, advocating for transparency, affordable housing, good jobs, the environment and quality public services. The Labour Council is very pleased to endorse them for a second election cycle.
