"No Fracking, No Drilling at Lake Ainslie: Cape Breton September 2012"

by Youth Bundle Media (Eliza Knockwood Filmmaker/Editor)

Since Thursday, September 13th, members of the Mi'kmaq Community have been slowing down traffic on the Canso Causeway (between Cape Breton and Mainland Nova Scotia) to bring attention to plans for exploratory oil drilling at Lake Ainslie, Cape Breton. Eliza Knockwood, a Mi'kmaq filmmaker originally from Charlottetown, made this video of the first few days of the protest.
