K'jipuktuk (Halifax) - Maude Barlow, chairperson of the Council of Canadians, was in New Brunswick earlier this week, visiting with communities that have been protesting against SWN Resources Canada's seismic testing in Kent County.

Last night, August 6th, Barlow spoke to a crowd of about 500 people in Moncton.

Halifax - On Thursday, April 5th,at 9:00am, MLA Gary Burrill (Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley) presented thousands of signatures from concerned Nova Scotians to the NS House of Assembly, calling for a ban on fracking. This process took about 30 seconds and discussion did not continue further.
