Interested in working with the Halifax Media Co-op this summer as a journalist/researcher?

We're pleased to announce that we have funding for a summer student position for a journalist/researcher to work 8 weeks at 30 hours per week (a total of 240 hours) at $10.40 per hour, to be completed by August 30, 2014.  Your start and end dates are flexible, depending on your summer plans.

You'll be living the dream of getting paid to do grassroots reporting on under-reported stories, all the while working with our team of amazing volunteer editors.

You'll need to be a student who is returning to school full-time in the fall.

We'll be prioritizing applications from students who self-identify as visible minorities.
