Occupy NS Statement On Relocation for Remembrance Day

Group will temporarily relocate to Vicotira Park

Out of respect for the Dignity Day commemoration event taking place on November 9th as well as Remembrance Day ceremonies taking place at Grande Parade Square on November 11th, the General Assembly of Occupy Nova Scotia has decided by consensus that:

1. There will be a major Solidarity Rally and Great Grand Parade Clean-Up from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday November 6.

2. The Occupation at Grand Parade Square will relocate temporarily to Victoria Park (Spring Garden Road at South Park Street in Halifax) by the evening of Tuesday November 8.

3. Occupy Nova Scotia will return to Grand Parade with a Solidarity Rally at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 12.
