Community proposal to purchase St. Patrick's Alexandra School Property

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if people who had to move away from the north end to live or work could come home? Or if the businesses that were once here returned and not only offered local residents services, but employment opportunities?

This is the news we’ve all been waiting for! HRM Council will consider our proposal to develop the St. Pat’s Alexandra property on May 13.

This is a once in a lifetime development opportunity with significant benefits for the Halifax north end neighbourhood, the broader Halifax community and the province. If approved, our proposal will bring more than 250 units of new affordable home ownership into the area along with innovative home ownership programs. Our model is financially sustainable and does not require any funding from taxpayers. There will be no ongoing cost to the city.

This will be the place where people will want to live, work, shop and play.

We are excited, it’s ambitious, but we can do this. Watch our story and be the first to see the facts on this exciting proposal, as well as the tremendous benefits it will bring to our neighbourhood and the broader HRM community.
