A while back there was some effort to do some coverage of innovative cooperatives I think....did that ever come to anything? It would be interesting to read something on the different types of cooperatives in the Province or around Halifax - what do they do, how do they operate, who are the people working there, what are their goals - Coops are good economic models and present a real alternative to the growth-oriented, capitalist businesses that make up the majority of the economic system in Nova Scotia for the most part. It would be good to see what things are happening, what the roadblocks are to having more cooperatives, or how they might be providing an alternative "business" model.
