THURSDAY
Hi there,
I wanted to invite you and anyone else you know to an upcoming public event about imprisonment and mental illness.
It is happening Thursday, January 19th, 7-9pm in North End Halifax (at the Humani-T Cafe on Young St). There will be three speakers (including a psychologist who practices at the East Coast Forensic Hospital in Dartmouth and a feminist philosopher writing about the harms of solitary confinement in the US).  The main part of the event will be public discussion, and I would love to have some local members of the community and activists there.
All are welcome, it's free, the venue is wheelchair accessible, and food will be provided!
See the attached poster or http://www.noveltechethics.ca/page.php?page=6&id=46 for details.
All my best,
Ami Harbin
