Silent March to Oppose the Unfair Elections Act

11:30ampm-abbreviation am
- 12:30pm
Jeudi Septembre 24 2015

Venue: Public Gardens

» More information

Join students, workers, and community organisers in a silent march through the public gardens to oppose the (un) Fair Elections Act. This law, passed in 2013, dangerously changed how, and if, some Canadians can participate in our democracy. This law suppresses voters through tactics like making voter identification harder and prohibiting Elections Canada from encouraging Canadians to vote.

Marchers will meet at the West Gate of the Camp Hill Cemetery between 11:30 and 11:45, and then march silently through the public garden.
