Solidarity with CUPE Water Workers

5:00pm
- 6:00pm
Mardi Mai 12 2015

Venue: Grand Parade

» More information

Workers at Halifax Water (members of CUPE Local 1431 and CUPE Local 227) are facing a possible lockout as early as Monday, May 11th.

The employer is demanding changes that would reduce pensions and has made a wage offer below the rate of inflation.

Come out for a solidarity action in support of Halifax's water workers on Tuesday, May 12th at 5 pm in front of Halifax City Hall (Grand Parade Square).

Bring banners, noisemakers and flags. Let's show these workers we have their backs and that Halifax is a union town!
