Come swap self care tips for the colder months and build self care toolkits full of ways you can spoil yourself. The workshop will be a potluck style swap, bring things, recipes, or ideas that help you feel safe and happy in the winter months to share with the folks in attendance. In the words of the incredible Audre Lorde “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” Please bring a container/ envelope you want to store your toolkit in. Looking forward to see you folks there!

Bring one of the following:
e.g. a package of your favourite tea or a playlist
self care ideas you want to swap
self care methods for the winter months

About the teacher, Carmella and Jude

Jude and Carmella speak to their passions of radical vulnerability and the political aspects of self preservation through a feminist perspective. The importance self care informs their work at The South House, a full time sexual and gender resource centre.
