The Importance of Collective Bargaining: Panel Discussion

7:00pm
- 9:00pm
Jeudi Mai 15 2014

Venue: Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts
Address: 6199 Chebucto Road

Please join us for the first of the "Connect Left" lecture series hosted by the Chebucto NDP.

We will be discussing the history and importance of collective bargaining for creating safe work conditions and greater social equity.

This discussion will partially be framed around Liberal Bill 37 which stripped most Nova Scotian Heallth Care and Social Service workers of their voice and bargaining power in the name of "Essential Services".

Panelist include labour lawyer Ray Larkin and NSGEU negotiator and former ED Linda Power.
