CIHR Café Scientifique presents...
Caring, Connecting, Contributing Together: Discussions on Gender Diversity and Health Care.

This event will be a great opportunity for the general public to increase their knowledge and resources through presentations from Nationally-funded health researchers from Dal. This café session focuses on gender diversity in nursing in the areas of recruitment/retention, clinical practice and education. 

Come away with a new understanding of how we as a community can improve gender diversity to benefit health outcomes. 

Dr. Eddy Ng will be discussing gender diversity in the workplace

Dr. Lisa Goldberg will be discussing experiences of women and primary care providers during birth in the context of power, gender, and heteronormativity. 

Dr. Jacqueline Gahagan will be discussing health promotion research and policy analyses related to the intersectionality of gender and other key determinants of health on health outcomes. 

Food and refreshments will be served!
