OUT: Queer Looking, Queer Acting Revisited celebrates the early history of LGBT activism in Halifax and its evolution within the context of the building that was, in many ways, its unofficial headquarters: the Church of England Institute Building at 1588 Barrington Street. A revisitation of Robin Metcalfe's landmark 1997 exhibitionQueer Looking, Queer Acting: Lesbian and Gay Vernacular, OUT bridges the original exhibit to the growth of transgender or trans* activism in the second decade of the 21st century.
