Presenting Sable Island: How Much Fresh Water is on Sable Island?

7:00pm
- 9:00pm
Mardi Novembre 5 2013

Venue: Scotiabank Theatre Auditorium, Sobey School of Business, Saint Mary’s University
Address: 923 Robie Street

Fresh water is arguably the most important requirement for life. How much fresh water is there on Sable Island, and how much life can it sustain? This question was asked by the oil and gas industry in the 1970s when drilling activities were based on the island. It’s being asked now by those concerned about the potential increase in the number of visitors to the new Sable Island National Park Reserve.
