JOIN US FOR A GOOD OL' FASHIONED EARLY MORNING ANTI-UNION BUSTING PICKET!

A complaint has been filed with the Nova Scotia Labour Board alleging that Kathleen Attis, the franchise owner at Second Cup on Quinpool Road, engaged in a pattern of violations of the Trade Union Act before and after a vote for union certification on June 5 2013. We allege a number of workers were either dismissed or punished because of their support for wanting to join the Service Employees International Union Local 2.

These violations of labour rights cannot be tolerated.

Help us ensure that the Second Cup on Quinpool Road respects the rights of its workers to organize a union by joining our picket.

You can also write a letter of solidarity demanding that the second Cup on Quinpool Road reinstate the dismissed union supporters, cease all violations of the trade union act and recognize the workers right to form a union.
