Pitchers & Politics - Progressives talking Healthcare

7:00pm
- 9:00pm
Jeudi Avril 25 2013

Venue: Dalhousie University Pub
Cost: Free

At this month's Pub Night for Progressives we're talking Healthcare. We will be joined by members of the health advocacy and activist community to discuss the current state of healthcare in Canada.

Recently, both the Provincial and Federal governments have tabled budgets – let's take some time to discuss these budgets in respect to healthcare policy:
- What is the state of Healthcare in Canada?
- What's going on here at home, that's specific to our province?
- What's next for medicare?

We will be joined by members of different activist organizations who will do their part in helping to answer some of these questions.

So save the date: next Thursday, April 25th, 7:00 pm.
The Dalhousie University Pub is located on Dalhousie’s Studley campus
at 6259 Alumni Crescent (just off South Street) overlooking Wickwire Field.

This is going to be a great opportunity for progressives in HRM to get together and tackle some of the most serious issues that we are faced with. You won't want to miss it!

Please note: you must be 19+ to attend this event.
