Penn State Professor of Biology Chuck Fisher is very familiar with the Gulf of Mexico. More specifically with the sea floor of the Gulf of Mexico. Following the Deepwater Horizon rig disaster, concerns arose about the potential for long term damage to the sea floor and its inhabitants . Professor Fisher and a team of scientist from across the nation are investigating how the unique life forms that dwell deepest in the Gulf are adapting and surviving.
