The Halifax Community Health Board is hosting a community consultation on Thursday February 7. We want to hear your ideas on how Nova Scotia should move forward in developing a housing strategy. We are excited about the work that the Department of Community Services (DCS) is doing around housing. We want to be sure that the people living on the Peninsula and in Fairview are well represented because housing is such an important part of the health of our communities. We are hosting this conversation to discuss what we have collectively heard and observed in our daily interactions with local residents, at previous housing information sessions, around our kitchen table, in the lunch room, wherever….
Whether you are someone who works with people facing housing inequalities, a concerned resident or a community volunteer, we want to hear from you. Come and have your say!

Please RSVP to Laurie MacNeil at laurie.macneil@cdha.nshealth.ca or 487-0571.
