Kwanzaa Dinner Hosted by The Maritime Centre for African Dance

The Maritime Centre for African Dance is hosting a Kwanzaa Dinner on November 29,2012 that we would love for you to be a part of. Kwanzaa is an African Canadian and African American celebration of 7 different principles of the people of African Descent. This is the FIRST event of its kind being held in the MARITIMES and we are excited to offer you the opportunity to share and promote African heritage and culture.
The dinner will be held to congratulate the winners of the Kwanzaa competition that ran its course from September 29, 2012 to November 14, 2012. Contestants were grade school students from the Atlantic Provinces.
A traditional African meal will be served to dinner guests. Entertainment will include African Dance and Drum for the enjoyment of the guests.
The ticket price for this event is $40 per person.
