Join us at a conference designed to engage and inspire young Nova Scotians (ages 13-18) to take action on the environmental issues they are most passionate about.

“Start Something Big” is a student led conference for environmental change.  The event will be held on Saturday, November 17th, 2012 at the Shambhala School, 5450 Russell Street, Halifax, and will be a full day of inspiration, motivation, sharing and starting new projects.

This event is designed to engage and inspire Nova Scotia youth (ages 13-18) to take action on the environmental issues most pressing to them. A series of motivating speakers will be talking on a range of topics to help spark a dialogue between youth, teachers and community members about important environmental issues. We hope that this day will provide grounds for youth to identify priority environmental issues they wish to work on with the support of the EAC. It will be a day to make connections toward taking action and making a difference.
