Slut-Shaming, Sexual Objectification & Racism in Halloween Costumes

On October 25th the DWC will host a discussion night dedicated to Halloween costumes. We'll chat about slut-shaming, the sexualization of women's and young girl's costumes, and analyze the embedded and overt racist messages many costumes, and costume manufacturers, promote and perpetuate.
Candy apples and Halloween treats will be provided. Costumes are enthusiastically encouraged!
