Meeting on Endangered Fish & Sharks on April 6

April 6, 2009 9 AM, Marine House, 176 Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS, Class of '47 room. DFO will hold the last of several meetings to review their analysis of the potential socio-economic impacts of listing the population of Bay of Fundy tributaries striped bass as threatened, the Atlantic populations of shortfin mako as threatened, blue shark as special concern, and white shark as threatened under the Species at Risk Act (SARA). These species need the legal protections they would gain under SARA - please attend and support the sharks!
