How did race in our society become more than just skin colour? 

Race should be considered nothing more than a physical attribute, such as a tattoo, but its not. Why? How has this come to be? 

We'll be screening the film Race is a Four-Letter Word followed by discussion with the producer Sobaz Benjamin about the meaning of Race in our society. What are some of the contradictions and conflicts around race in Canada?
