Jessica Ernst Speaking

7:00pm
Sunday December 4 2011

Venue: Lions Hall Whycocomagh
Cost: free

Jessica Ernst is an environmental scientist, with 30 years of oil patch experience. Jessica’s career and personal experience make her uniquely qualified to talk about hydraulic fracturing. At Jessica’s farm in Rosebud, Alberta, she must haul water from outside sources because her well is poisoned. In fact, she disconnected the well from her house because her water contains explosive levels of methane gas. She has filed legal action against Encana (a large oil and gas company), the Energy Resources Conservation Board (which approves energy projects) and the Alberta Government for their responsibility.
