Fight Ebola Nova Scotia

Awareness Campaign Meeting

6:00pm
- 8:00pm
Thursday October 30 2014

Venue: Ballroom of Bethune Building, Victoria General Hospital
Address: 1276 South Park Street

In pursuit of fighting the Ebola crisis in West Africa, many concerned citizens in Nova Scotia originally from West Africa and other Canadians have organized a task force called Fight Ebola Nova Scotia (FENS).  We believe by working together we can make a meaningful contribution.

The main objectives for FENS are as follows:

  • To receive input and advice from the participants on how to  acquire medical, protective equipment and supplies for infected persons and first responders;
  • To identify fund raising activities to be donated to Doctors Without Borders Canada / Médecins Sans Frontières to be channelled in the Ebola funds;
  • To create partnerships with institutions and/or individuals to help fight Ebola in West Africa; and
  • To provide current information on the impacts that Ebola is having on people in West Africa and family members in Nova Scotia.
