Action and Education to Save Sharks!

We are very excited to be hosting a series of public events celebrating the diversity of sharks and how we can work together to protect them. 

Of Sharks and People - October 15th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Shark expert and CBC Oceans Guy Dr. Boris Worm is kicking off the series with a lecture on sharks, biodiversity, and how we can play a role in helping these cool creatures.

ArtShark - October 18th, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Take part in a community art workshop to create art for the love of sharks. What we create will be on display for Nocturne that night! Please contact gretchenf@sierraclub.ca to register.

Shark October 19th, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Local experts & groups working on sharks will present a series of workshops on shark diversity, conservation, and how you can help out with their work to protect sharks. Please contact gretchenf@sierraclub.ca to register.

Sharky Sharky Kids Stuff - October 24th, all day event
Environmental educator Emily Dodge will be leading up shark education event for children and youth during the Museum's visiting hours. Drop by and get your shark on!
