Anti-Oppression Training Details:

Many of us are not aware that we live in a society that benefits certain people at the cost of other people being denied these same benefits. In this workshop, we will explore, define and unpack the terms Privilege and Oppression and the different ways they affect us/and the society we live in. We will also take a closer look at “Anti-Oppression” and the work that it often includes – and excludes.

Hosted by South House and Jackie Barkley

For new volunteers at the South House, and the volunteers of allied societies NSPIRG, Loaded Ladle, CKDU, Equity and Accessibility Office, King's Feminist Collective, etc!

This event is free and open to anybody who wants to learn!

Event is accessible
Snacks provided
Gender neutral washroom

**This is a two hour training workshop. Out of respect for the presenter, the material, and everybody in attendance, no latecomers will be allowed in. BE ON TIME. Thanks!**
