Living Shorelines Site Selection Tour

The Coastal and Water is team hosting a Living Shorelines field trip! We’ve begun the process of implementing a Living Shorelines public demonstration site around the Halifax Harbour. Living Shorelines is all about managing coastal erosion in a way that mimics the natural processes of stabilized shorelines to improve habitat, water quality and our ability to adapt to climate change. The day will consist of visiting four sites and comparing and contrasting them with our expert team. This is a great way to learn about Living Shorelines, especially site assessment, from a variety of expert perspectives. We hope to see you there!
