Waves Strings and Wires

8:00pm
- 9:30pm
Friday May 16 2014

Venue: Bus Stop Theatre
Address: 2203 Gottingen Street

The final Concert of suddenlyLISTEN's 13/14 season presents some of Canada's most fascinating artists! All of these soundmakers use different techniques for their work, and all are masters at many things. Our special guest is the Vancouver composer, artistic director, educator, collaborator, circuit bender and conductor Giorgio Magnanensi. Giorgio is known across Canada as one of our artistic leaders, and as one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! He'll be joined by sL originator John D. S. Adams and his table of analog electronics, Lukas Pearse, making and processing video live, and Norm Adams, playing cello, but expanding and extending it through computer processing.

The music will be interactive, colourful and strange, made by instruments that you know and one's you didn't even know were instruments!

Don't miss this adventure in sight and sound, made by Waves, Strings and Wires.

Tickets are $20 and $10 for students, available at the door.
