The End of the FederalEnvironmental Assessments in Canada?
with Professor Meinhard Doelle

The new Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA 2012) has substantially changed the process of evaluating responsible environmental development.  The Federal Government used to carry out thousands of assessments per year;  it now does less than 100.  How will this affect environmental choices in our backyards?  Join us in our next session as we discuss the impact of CEAA 2012:

·         What are the key changes to the Federal EA process?
·         How will it affect the frequency and quality of assessments?
·         What will it mean for projects in this area?
