Special public talk by Michel Chikwanine Inspirational Speaker on the Ability to Create Change

The Dalhousie Graduate Society of Political Science and the CYCC Graduate Society are pleased to present Michel Chikwanine, a former child soldier from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who will speak of his experiences in the midst of Africa’s deadliest war and the challenges of his integration into Canadian society. The evening will also showcase an exhibit of artwork by former child soldiers from northern Uganda, courtesy of the Canadian-based organization Children/Youth as Peacebuilders. Doors open at 6:30pm. Admission by donation.
