The South Shore Chapter of the Council of Canadians will host guest speaker Catherine Abreu, Wednesday night, November 27th at 7:30pm. Ms Abreu is the Energy Coordinator for the Ecology Action Centre, as well as the Regional Coordinator for the Atlantic Canada Sustainable Energy Coalition (ACSEC). 
The title of her talk will be “Energy Security for Nova Scotia: Comparing the Issues, Comparing the Options.” She will challenge the promotion of unsustainable energy initiatives and offer more sustainable solutions.
