Join Dr. Mary Bryson from the University of British Columbia (http://ubc.academia.edu/MaryKBryson) as she gives an autobiographical, multimedia presentation on Cancer’s Margin’s – the first national study to look at the cancer experiences of queer Canadians (http://lgbtcancer.ca/).

In this talk, Dr. Bryson will explain the history of the project, share her personal story, and outline how art is being used to illustrate the research findings. 

This event is free, physically accessible and scent-free.

Presented by the Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project (NSRAP) in partnership with Dalhousie’s Gender and Health Promotion Studies (GAHPS) Unit and the Halifax Public Libraries.
