There will be an Industrial Workers of the World sponsored dinner and movie on Sunday, September 1st from 6-9pm atRoberts Street! We will be showing Salt of the Earth - a 1954 drama about striking miners in New Mexico. The film was blacklisted by Hollywood as "communist propaganda." It explores working class radicalism, the role of women in class struggle, and the treatment of Mexican-American workers.
