Common Roots Urban Farm hosts a series of free public talks that explore people-plant connections which have positive health outcomes. 

Gardening with children is quickly becoming a favourite activity at school. Supporting this effort is the provincial School Garden Initiatives. Learn about this program, school gardens in the Halifax Regional School Board area and other great activity that is growing across the province.
