Sackville River Rubber Duck Derby

9:00am
Saturday June 13 2009

On Saturday June 13th at 9am, the Sackville Rivers Association and the Sackville Boys and Girls Club will be hosting a Lucky Duck Derby!

Please help us with this carefree fundraiser for our respective groups by racing a rubber duck down the Little Sackville River, between Sackville Drive and Falling Brook Park. For the individual race, ducks are $5 each, or three ducks for $12. The business race cost is $50 per duck, or three ducks for $125.

Gift certificates and/or any other kind of donation are also most welcome. These items will be given out as door prizes to participating individuals: a great advertising opportunity for you, and more fun for the participants!

There will be prizes awarded to the winners, for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. And, each participating business will be given a framed certificate of participation. A barbeque is to follow at the finish line, for participants and their families. A great event for the kids!

Participating businesses would be able to advertise on site using a company banner, etc. All funds raised will be put toward the SRA’s ongoing efforts to protect the Sackville River and its watershed.
If you would like to register for this fun event please call the SRA office at the number below. We hope to hear from you!
