FREESCHOOL

11:00am
Sunday January 27 2013

Venue: Dalhousie Student Union Building
Cost: Free

» More information

Let’s get outside the world of mainstream education and come together for a day of teaching, sharing, and learning. Facilitate a discussion, teach a skill, or just sit back, relax, and learn.

There will be many workshops happening simultaneously with attendees roaming freely from one space to another as their curiosity directs them. Learning at Free School is – you guessed it – FREE! And of course, so is lunch.

Some of the workshops we've got so far...
- Basic Breakdancing
- Digital Photography and Composition
- Does Marxism Event Matter? A teach-in and Discussion
- Communicating with Joy: How to Draw what You See
- The Life of a Grad Student
- Consensus Based Decision Making
- If You Build It
- The Human Bubble Station
- Fermentation
- Healthy Cooking
- Learn the Ukelele with Uytae
- Knot Tying
- Ballet Class
- Sewing

Interested in holding a discussion, running a workshop, or sharing a skill? Email dsu.sandbox@gmail.com or just fill out the registration form and we’ll get back to you.

Please register at www.dsu.ca/freeschool

(Everyone who attends will need to register so we can make sure we have enough food for both facilitators and attendees not facilitating).
